The heavy-duty disc sander includes a steel disc plate that holds a 12-inch diameter, 80-grit abrasive disc. The sander's cast-iron base construction reduces vibration and includes base holes for bench mounting. The cast-iron table comes with table-locking handles and tilts to positive 45 and 90 degrees, while a 3/8-inch-by-3/4-inch miter gauge slot is built into the table for angled and straight edge sanding jobs. A top manual brake puts a stop to sanding in mere seconds. The integral dust collection fan carries debris away from the table, and the built-in dust hose with 2-1/4-inch OD connectors attaches to most standard shop vacuums.
