Manufacturer Description |
By far the biggest challenge in dust collection is keeping the dust from clogging the filter bags. We have all experienced how great a dust collector works when it is new and the filters do not have any dust inside. Soon the filter has a cake of fine dust inside and the air flow is reduced to almost nothing. The main purpose of a cyclone type dust collector is to minimize the “clogging of filters as much as possible. Inside of the cyclone the air and dust particles are forced against the inside of the cyclone wall. Since dust particles are heavier than clean air these particles fall down into the drums, and 99.9% clean air is evacuated through the center of the cyclone. The second advantage of the Cyclone design is that the suction impeller is positioned after the cyclone. This allows us to use a fan design with higher performance. The fan design we use is both more efficient and more quiet. |
