Manufacturer Description |
Smooth operation, solid performance, and sweet cutting results. When you run this 18" Vertical Metal-Cutting Bandsaw for the first time, you'll be blown away—just like we were! This saw has all the same great features as its 15" little brother, the G0736, but it cuts workpieces up to 10 3/4" high and has a throat capacity of 18". The great advantage in owning a metal-cutting bandsaw with a built-in blade repair station is that you can make internal cuts by cutting the blade, feeding it through the workpiece, welding it back together, annealing it so it's hard enough for cutting, and then grinding the weld smooth and re-installing the blade to start cutting again. When the cut is complete, cut the blade and pull it out of the workpiece. Voila! There you have an internal metal cut! FEATURES:
