COPYING ROUTER-SHAPER WITH 8 WORKING POSITIONS FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MILLING OF ELEMENTS IN WOOD, BACKS AND SIMILAR ELEMENTS

USE:

The machines is used for continuous internal and external milling (roughing and finishing) of two sides of elements in wood and it can be also configured for external longitudinal sanding.

CHARACTERISTICS:

A thrust bearing with 8 working positions is supported by a sturdy electro-welded steel frame.

Mounted at each working position are 1 shaped workpiece supporting bench (copying Template) 2 automatically driven adjustable pneumatic locking cylinders, 1 centering unit equipped with two adjustable pneumatic cylinders for correct positioning of the workpiece when loading.

The machine consist of 4 tool holder carriages, which slide on ball coupling and temperated guides. The carriages follow the template shape and are kept closed by adjustable pneumatic cylinders and copying roller.

A number of milling units (internal - external) and longitudinal sanding units (external only) are mounted on the carriages depending on the configuration.

Each milling unit is height adjustable by means of handwheel and is fitted with 2 suction intakes and copying roller millesimal adjustment device and powered oscillation.

the rotating motion of the router is driven by a gearmotor with electronically variabile speed offering an endless range of speeds. The machines is fitted with an automatic decelerator at the points in which a large amount of wood is removed or in which the shaping operation is more difficult. Electrical switchboard in separate pulpit - pendant pushbutton panel for fitting out operations - Silent cabin with interlocked access door and internal lighting in compliance With CE rules.

WORKING CYCLE:

1st Cycle - manual for all machine maintenance and fitting out operations with clockwise and anticlockwise rotation of the table.

2nd Cycle - automatic with continuous rotation,requires operator only for loading and unloading.

Equipment required is limited to the copying template reproducing the profile of the finished piece
