COPYING ROUTER-SHAPER WITH 6 WORKING POSITIONS FOR MILLING AND SANDING THE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL OF WOODEN CHAIR LEGS

USE:

The machine is used for continuos milling (roughing - finishing) and sanding (roughing - finishing) the internal and external of wooden chair legs.

CHARACTERISTICS:

A thrust bearing with 6 working positions is supported by a sturdy electro-welded steel frame.

1 shaped workpiece supporting bench (copying template) and 3 manually driven adjustable pneumatic lockihg cylinders mounted at each working position.

The tool-holders, which slide on ball couplings and tempered guides, follow the template shape and are kep close by adjustable pneumatic cylinders and copying rollers.

A numbers of milling units (internal -external) and longitudinal sanding units (internal - external) are mounted on the carriages depending on the configuration.

Each milling unit is height adjustable by means of handwheel and is fitted with 2 suction intakes and copying roller millesimal adjustment device and powered oscillation.

For correct positioning of the workpiece, the machines is fitted with an automatic pneumatic centering unit linked to the rotating motion during the loading phase. The rotating motion of the router is driven by a gearmotor with electronically variable speed offering an endless range of speeds. The machines is fitted with an automatic decellerator at the points in wihich a large amount of wood is removed or in which the shaping operation is more difficult.
