Semiautomatic Heron is the perfect compromise between production volume and cost-efficiency. Designed specifically for large production volumes, this configuration is made extremely effective by its two-motor shaper. In fact the shaper works simultaneously on two packets eliminating the need for packet rotation. The semiautomatic version features manual press loading, with the possibility of converting it to completely automatic at a later date. The particularly interesting optional extras include a series of automated units to assist the operator with the shaper and press loading operations. In the semiautomatic version Heron is also useful for executing an intermediate product quality selection, between the shaper and the press, in situations where the upstream sorting process is not 100% guaranteed. Both vertical and horizontal shaping are possible
