Manufacturer Description

This machine offers everything you would expect from a modern premium-class sliding-table saw: three controlled axes and a future-oriented, user-friendly 5.7" touchscreen control for precise settings of the cutting height, angle, and width in seconds.

Pressure-Sensitive Touchscreen Control

Simply enter the needed measurements for the cutting width, height, and angle - the control will accurately position the selected axes. Moreover, intuitive menus provide step-by-step assistance for complex processes, and the integrated calculator can be used for performing the needed calculations.

The control also monitors the saw-blade guard. If the narrow hood is inserted, the rip fence approaches the saw blade up to a distance of 25 mm (1"); of course, the saw blade cannot be tilted in this constellation. If the broad guard is used, the rp fence stops at a cutting width of 150 mm (6"), allowing the blade to tilted by up to 46. In this case, you would perform narrow cuts with very low speeds in order to avoid work accidents and damages to the guard or the rip fence.

To work efficiently with the tilted saw blade, you often need the cutting measurement in relation to the top of the workpiece. For this purpose, you can enter the thickness of the workpiece in a menu. The electronic system will compute the tilting angle and the workpiece thickness and position the stop accordingly. The entered workpiece thickness is displayed in a simple way in the main operating menu.

Mitre Cross-Cut Table for Precise Angle Cuts

This table makes your machine an efficient, perfect angle-cutting tool that is also perfect for compound mitre cuts. The table can be adjusted from +46.5 to -46.5 with a resolution of 0.01; depending on the execution, the needed length compensation is performed with electronic support or fully automatically.

The ProLock system enables changes of the main saw blade and the scoring blade – without locking the saw arbor. On all T74 machines, the speed can easily be changed by means of a user-friendly opening in the machine table. With the optional variable speed control you can easily and perfectly set the speed with the push of a button and adjust the speed even more precisely.

Classical Options

If you need to process large panels, you can use the optional multi-purpose table, whose two stops can be moved parallel to each other. Even large, long workpieces can be positioned precisely parallel and cut perfectly.

The scoring blades have a decisive impact on cutting quality. Select either the 2-axes system whose scoring height and right/left position can be set while the machine is running, with the scoring kerf adjusted when the machine is not running, or the patented MARTIN 3-axes system, where all axes, even the kerf can be adjusted while the machine is running.
