A threaded shaft with lever controls lateral table movement and a threaded shaft and helical gearing raises and lowers the table. Adjustable quick-clamp holds the work on the table. 45º right or left tilt for angled mortising.

Head mechanism slides on guideways with adjustable gibs. The motor is mounted on the cast-iron head and runs a blower to remove chips and dust. A depth gauge limits head travel for accurate mortising depth. 2 position foot pedal activates head movement.
