Scroll Saw Product Guide
|Scroll Saw Guide|
Scroll saws excel at making fine, free-hand cuts in thin material. They are commonly used for inlay work and in the arts&crafts community.
The size of a scroll saw is determined by its throat capacity, the distance between the blade and the rear frame of the machine. This distance limits the maximum size of the workpiece that can be fed into the machine.
The cutting height of the machine is primarily determined by the maximum length of the relatively thin scroll saw blades. The different models have settled around ~2".
