|Demo Hammer Guide|
Demo hammers are a smaller version of a jack hammer. They drive a chisel bit into concrete or stone to break the material. Demo hammers cannot drill holes.
Size matters for demo hammers. The larger and heavier the tool, the more breaking power the tool has.
The largest demo hammers are best used for breaking up slabs and driveways. They cannot be used overhead. The smaller model can used on walls or even overhead, but their performance on slabs will be significantly lower.
Smaller demo hammers are low duty cycle machines. They are meant to make small corrections on a pour rather than remove a whole wall. If they are used continuously, they will overheat.
Large hammers are built for continuous use.
